It depends on how steep the hill is! If it's steep enough all auto's will roll back, if it goes forward when you press the accelerator I wouldn't worry. You could check (or have the) the fluid level is up to the fill/level plug.

PS NO NEED TO SHOUT  ;) turn your caps off please  ;)  ;)  :y  :y

HI CHOCO

My auto will stay put on a slight hill but will roll back on a steeper one. A bit of throttle will hold it steady, or use the brake if you need to, but nothing to worry about I wouldn't think.  :y

I think you are fine, mine roles on all but the slightest of hills. I have had very few autos that hold well on all hills :)

Only ever seen my current omega roll back on the steepest of steepest hills, prev elite rolled back more readily though.

Use the handbrake.  Perhaps even fluid/filter change if you don't know if/when it's been done, won't do any harm.

Unless you have something like Hill holder ( and I think none omega has it) it will roll on steeper hills.
I've seen only audi tdi that holds still on steeper hills and probably petrol would also roll back

Mine rolls back too on the steeper hills, it concerned me at first as this didn't happen with a Mitsubishi Colt I had or my girlfriend's 23 year old BMW 320 she had at the time. I'm just used to it now  :y
