I have plugged a laptop into my car and got Code 52 DTC!
can anyone tell me what this means and how can I fix it. I can clar the fault code but that don't stop me from getting the Auto Gearbox fault indication :-[

What engine have you got?

The only reference to code 52 I can find is "check lamp voltage high". Which isn't particularly helpful...

Hi Mine is a 2.5 V6 and I Google DTC 52 and got Reprogramme Cluster or SDM not Configured or Heater and air Con control not programmed.
the heater works so that's one down.

dont know what dct 52 is but on the list I have its telltale (check light ) voltage high.
try the paperclip test and see if you get any codes with it. here is a list of codes for the V6

if you are trying to sort a gearbox problem, you need to read gearbox ecu ;)

paper clip test and pedal trick only read engine ecu remember. Will need a reader of some sort for all else.
