I know a man who can supply chips for them, from memory, £70 delivered.

Can't chip an auto without changing gearbox - it will rip the standard ar25 gearbox to shreds.

ECU in box by battery.

PM me your contact details and I'll forward them on, and he'll contact you direct to get further details.

He will need the ECU number (214, 215, 427 or 428) - this is the last 3 digits on the sticker on the front of ECU.  You will also need to check its socketed - there is a guide in Maintenence Guides.

427 seem to be 50/50 - so go check if it has a socket in

im not too far away from you so could probably fit it for you, as TB says it might be a soldered type as the last one i done which i believe was a 427, if you need a socket converter there is a components shop in chesterfield :y

Neither do I, and mine's been in and out like a fiddlers elbow, due to an ongoing pump issue.

Well worth getting it chipped. Big difference in perfomance and fuel economy.
TB's "man that can" is a diamond geezer, very helpfull.  :y
