leak in my omega

i woke up this morning to a swimming pool in the rear passenger footwell.cant see anywhere were the rain has got in, but it defo got in :( only got the car 2 weeks ago.has anyone experienced this before, is it common are any seals around the doors or anywhere else known for not sealing...?
maybe it was a freak one off, but may as well ask if anyone has had it before.

What about under the carpet at the front? A very common point where water enters the front is via the scuttle drain by the pollen filter, it fills up & overflows into the car ...... but into the front footwell. There is a LOT of sound deadening which could soak up water.

I'm looking for the guide .... but can't find it  :-[

no the front was dry until i hit the brakes at the end of my road, and thats when i noticed the tidal wave coming from the back.my heads pickled with it  :-/

Open the bonnet, at the passenger side under the windscreen there is flap. Have a look in there, is there standing water?

yup, got me a swimming pool in there too.wats the cause and wats the plan of action...?

can i unblock this filter to stop the problem..? its the rear thats got the pond in it tho...? wat about the pond in the front under the flap, is this caused by the filter being blocked?

Read the link!  :-? ...... it's all there! It's not the pollen filter that's blocked, it's the drain at the bottom that's blocked. I would imagine that if you lift your carpet at the front, you'll find it's pi$$ed wet through underneath too .....
