upping boost

do you make the rod on the actuator shorter or longer to up the boost on a turbo(2.2dti)

Upping the boost on a standard engine is not something I would recommend.

i thought the dti had ecu controlled boost, not manual like TD  :-/

Just make sure that your seals are good on the turbo and there's no play in the shaft.otherwise you'll be paying for it later.
