The Monaro, as so the Range rover, are both nice vehicles, but not for people who have to go to work every day :'(

I do not even think that i could earn enough to fill them up with Petrol :-/ :-/

:)The Rangey looks cool, nice motor no doubt. I've got no problem with big 4x4s despite the ribbing they get, do'nt care. I like big cars with big engines, always have...etc. That's why most of us are on here. The only thing i will never get to grips with is the prices they hold. 10 years old, Capt. Kirk mileage on some shogun or similar & they fetch thousands...WHY? Ok 4wd but most people never use it, they're shod in road tyres that cost a mint & would get stuck in a puddle, road motorists are stuck with diffs, transfer boxes that they do'nt need & cost when they expire, most of them have little off road ability to speak of, i've rescued several that have got stuck, wo'nt make it up a hill, got waterlogged etc in a 1982 Landy. That does'nt really matter because they are fundamentally road cars & nice, comfy, well equipped vehicles. I've driven a few on the road & liked them...but...
Why do old worn out ones still fetch 4,5,6 grand+ :-? :-? :-?
