Hello,
By now you'll have got the message I'm gettin' a 2.2. cd tomorrow.  One of the things I noticed when I test drove it, and the dealer said he'd fix, was that when pressing the accelerator to set off there seemed to be a ?dithering before the power picked up. The dealer agreed that he's noticed it too and advised that it was probably the spark plug leads.  These have now been replaced and the dealer's partner says, over the phone, that he never noticed the dithering when he tried it recently after the leads change i.e. that the leads have cured the problem.  Does all this sound feasible?  I've been readin' here about the IACU thingy probs and just wondered.  Another job, done before the deal is finalised tomorrow, was the exhaust.  That's been replaced too - could that have caused the dithering? I didn't notice any loss of power at speed - tho I only took it 60 or so.  Grateful for any help / comments.  :-? WAL

my 2.2 done this had a flat spot and was jerky as it went through the gears,being an auto..found out it was the cam sensor...

Very few 2.2's can be pedal tricked, generally they need a code reader.

Cam sensor = A small sensor at the front of the head that detects the position of the cam.

Dispack = modern equivalent to the old distributor.
