Cam sensor is under the plastic belt cover.
You can see the cable coming out of the sensor on the front top part of the engine. It is the only cable sticking upwards on the top of the engine.
Sensor is not visible until you remove the belt cover
Check Welung's post in parts for sale (Z2.2 mig ).
Cable is clearly visible on the pics

With camshaft sensors on the 2.2, make sure you replace it with a genuine Vx part!

Do NOT replace it with an aftermarket sensor.
