Question on tech 2

Found this lead on ebay, is this suitable to use as I have the tech 2 software or do I need a serial lead and if so where can i get one?

Believe usb ones more troublesome to connect than serial ones.  What Tech2 software do you have?

be aware, despite the confusing name, this is NOTHING like the proper Tech2 in functionality/ability.  That said, its not £3.5k either ;D
