Blowing exhaust
« on: 24 September 2009, 11:33:40 »

Hi all,
I've recently bought a 2.5 v6 elite estate and I am chuffed to bits with it so far, however I've noticed the exhaust is blowing  and after some investigation it appears to be blowing at the join between the back box and the centre section. I had a go at tightening the clamp but didn't seem to make any difference. Just wonderin if anybody can recommend a supplier of either a universal or omega specific aftermarket
back box? I've had a look but I don't want to fork out for one and find I have issues fitting it due to the twin exhaust going into 1 back box. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a willing but novice diy mechanic!!
Cheers Kev

I think I would prefer the twin pipe, but I notice this is for the 3.0, would this still be ok?

Thanks for the responses all help really appreciated

The back box is the same for the 2.5 and the 3.0 its just the 3.0 has twin outlets so will fit :y
