A new seal and about an hour in time, or just tighten it up a bit more  :y

It's a bit more involved than that. You would need to put aside more than an hour, more like at least three hours.

and snap the studs, then have to remove the head to drill them out, sounds like a great idea ::)

see its a td?
you need to check properly where it is blowing from, reason being you can get a blow from anyone of the maniflod to head joints also from the turbo downpipe and yet again from the turbo bypass!!! :y and thats assuming it hasnt got a split in any of the pipework!!
mine had a blow after going through the floods couple of years ago and its not a bad job at al to rplace manifold gaskets especially as the turbo stays in place and you just remove the manifold!!

Depends which side. I've just done a V6 driver side one today took about 4.5 hours with a few coffee breaks (i'm getting old).

Dont really know yet pete, but am i right in saying the drivers side is most awkward, and what do you have to strip to get to it?.
