Sunroof stops after dead battery
« on: 28 September 2009, 19:55:06 »

Bit of a strange one this, have a 2000 Elite which had a perfectly working sunroof until the radio was left on accidently overnight and the battery drained.

Got a set of jumpleads and started the car the next morning, everything was working fine until I tried to tilt the sunroof and it wouldn't do a thing. Checked the fuse and it's fine and the sunroof switch itself is still lit up but the sunroof is totally dead.

Anyone experienced this problem before or have any ideas?

Thanks

Try pushing the switch up and hold it in for a few seconds sounds like it has lost its memory have you checked that the windows work correctly they may need resetting two  :y

if you fit another radio, it also depends how you wire it,( i wanted mine on permenent). it will stay on forever, but lights up so i cant forget to turn off. sonys will bleep to remind you when you take the key out. if wired correctly.
