Got her home bled the brakes fitted the trackrod end fired her up and she sounds like theres a spanner in the engine? (There isnt a spanner in the engine)
Now shes difficult to start when she does my foot is to the floor and she barely makes tickover and is really rough.

can't find the pic i wanted there is one someware of the V6 engine bay, iic on the V6 its on the pipe with runs into the airbox.

But if you don't know where it is, suggests you have not unplugged it. You would not have needed to for any of the work done  :-/

Even if you sucked air into that, it would have nothing to do with the engine.

As EP says, do a paperclip test. and just work around the engine bay making sure all is well.

ok, so, it takes some starting, when you get it going it sounds like a bag o spanners, if you can get it to rev up i would think it doesnt sound too bad, alas wont tick over & dies. the egr valve is to the left of the engine looking at it from the front on the arm that comes up from the plenum. i had mine blanked of to cure this problem. no doubt others will give you more advice. :y

I was thinking that could have happened

whatever you do, do not start it again.

Best thing to do is to strip it down to take the cambelt cover off - will take you about an hour : take a piccie and we can confirm for you.

if the belt has slipped start praying....
