It looks OK'ish, a cheap motor. OK the bloke selling doesn't really appear to have his head screwed on properly just using buzz words to attract attention. I'm surprised it need a VIC (class C right-off) to get road legal again, I mean if you fixed the headlight, and pulled the bonnet out a bit it looks as if it would pass an MOT no probs. I think the reference to "plastic welding" just means the headlamp surround is broken and needs gluing or "melting" back together. Spot the towbar impact marks !.

I think it has hit a tow bar, that has pushed back the bumper, which caught the bonnet grill and headlamp. Doesn't need to have been that fast. It just shows how soon they write cars off these days. A new bumper, new bonnet, headlamp mount maybe, surround and a bit of spraying, and they dump a £2700 car. I am still surprised at it being Cat C.

That looks repairable for 2700, surely? New bonnet is 900 quid as an insurance job (don't ask me how I know!) add a bumper to that (didn't ask how much mine cost ::)).

That and the cat C makes me wonder if he's being entirely honest about the extent of the damage :-/

I think I agree, poss something else wrong, I wouldn't like to buy any car without first going and seeing it. I did once, my wife's corsa, from a fleabay auction. The car was fine, at first, but they had dogs, and you know what some dogs have, that hibernate, and come out when warm. Oh yes, it took several doses of anti flee powder to get rid !. Having said that, its the best time of year to buy a car, people are spending money on Xmas, not damaged cars, so it could be a bargain. We need professional advice, where's RMcB when you need him !.
