Strutt advice
« on: 02 November 2009, 14:44:07 »

Hello, Im buying a set of front strutts from a member on here, and I just wanted to check they will fit ok. My car is a 00 facelift saloon 3.0 elite. The strutts I'm buying are from a 99 3.0. If they are off a pre facelift will they still fit? Thanks Dave

They will fit but, the facelifts did have different rates for the shocks.

The struts will have a sticker on them with 2 letters which relate to the performance characteristics as mentioned by Mark.

However, genuine Vx are £40 brand new so it would need to be a very good price you are getting them for IMO.

Hi, not new they were taken of at 80k include springs. Mine have done 142k so I thought they would be better than mine. I'm getting them for £20 for the pair.
