it could be oil in the clutch hosing would clean out with the hosepipe, flush all muck out and see i that helps. could be somthing els but i do mine ev now and then, dont use a pressure washer as that will remove the grease on the thrust bearing. y:

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

A Manual clutch/pressure plate/flywheel is nothing like a 'proper' auto.

but the clutch is the same, was not meaning presure plate etc just the clutch pads, muck and stuff still get in there and needs to be clean'd out somtimes, oil and road muck can cause clutch spin.

No its not - autoboxes do not have a clutch!!  Power transmitted thro a torque convertor!!

Then its not an autobox - an autobox does NOT have a clutch - it has a torque convertor.  No autoboxes use a clutch as used by a manual box.  Be told  ;)

Repeat an autobox does NOT have a clutch - it has a torque convertor.  Flogging a dead horse springs to mind  :-? :-?

Agreed. Only clutch you'll find in an automatic gearbox will be small internal ones for changing the ratios. it is of course the torque converter that sits in the bellhousing, where a clutch would be on a manual box, and controls transmission of drive from  engine to transmission.
