I know there are lots of threads talking about this and everyone seems to have a preferred supplier or one they wouldn't use ever again.

My question is what are the official VX part numbers for new wishbones and costing on a TC.

Failing that ive heard the name lemforder mentioned but can't find an outlet on my searches, is this a good brand if so how much and where?

Lower arms are not on the Trade Club system they were removed a couple of years back.

RH Arm 90576789 & LH 90576788 both at a Trade Price od £201.49 each + VAT

IIRCC I paid about £50 (delivered) for a cheap pair on egay about 18 months ago... They are starting to tire a little but I must confess I didn't follow the correct torquing procedure (wheels in the air) and they have done 30k+ of fairly spirited driving ::) ::)

At the price they were I don't mind changing them every year ::) ::)

lemforder make them for vx, who simply add a GM sticker and double the price. They are said to be available from autovaux 110 ish a pair delivered???. Never used them though.

I went the "pre press merle (spelling?) heavy duty bushes into old wishbones" route, and then fit those once your sure they are pressed in ok, which they certainly where. :y

I would not recomend removal, pressing bushes out, pressing new bushes in and then re fitting wishbones without at least a 10 ton press, the correct drifts to press on to avoid damage and a good level of experience....

Have also seen mention ok F.I.A. as a cheap supplier. No experience of those either though :-/

I got my old GM wishbones rebushed with Meyle bushes and so far have been impressed, instantly better than any pattern wishbones i've used (tried Autovaux on the last car and 'buy parts by' (which were utterly shit) on the current one).

If you do purchase complete new wishbones and your current ones are genuine GM items I would be interested in them for rebushing for the next time.....  :y

CAF do Delphi Lockheed wishbones at £40 a side.

I have used them myself in the past, nowt wrong with them and the car they were fitted to still drives in a straight line 6 months after they were fitted with no sign of uneven wear on the tyres at all.

Wasn't a hard job to change at all, and easily doable in the book time on your driveway with hand tools.

I went old school for the basic setup after reassembly (wood, string, protractor, etc), but you really will want to get it set up properly afterwards.
