removal of water pump

can anyone help ? stipped down to water pump , not sure on final removal as seems cover wont come off ????

stipped down as far as the cambelt then? all bolts removed? give it a tap with a rubber mallet  ;)  :y

Glad it worked  :y

While the pump is out, its worth washing a good 10L of fresh water through the system  :)

Just done mine yesterday morning - a gentle tap with a hammer - mine needed a block of wood and a pounding with a 5lb lump hammer to shift it!!!

Don't forget to clean the face of the block before fitting the new pump and a little smear of grease is a good idea ;)
