Going up the A120 very early this morning thought that's odd, car is trimlining, difficult to keep in a straight line... when I arrived at my destination I realised why... I forgot that I had around 200kg of lead-acid batteries in the boot, they came off de-commissioned UPS units which I took with me to be recycled...

Having managed a sideways stunt with an Alfa Romeo some 25 years ago, which ended-up in a 180 degrees turn and me going backwards very fast  into a (luckily deserted) bus stop, I try to keep the rear of the car moving in the same general direction as the front, thank you very much...  :(

I find that you really have to bang the clutch out to get the old TD estate side on - much, much more lively when your tyres are near the end of their life though. Im looking forward to some icy road for a play :D

(especially if Omegatoy gets me hooked up)

with the ex car was a joy to play when everywhere was snow. But with the heavy mega and expensive parts I have that courage when the roads are dry only..for me to test it in snow a totally empty road and a full bank account is required  ;D

Mine was slipping - yes 2.2's do too  ::)(in manual form and heavy right foot of course) but then I got a puncture and since fitting the spare it won't do it. :(

So I'm off to get it repaired and refit my part worns to resume normal service  :y
