Is that the one in Swindon?

Americans just love it (not) if they have a hire car.  (Not many roundabouts at all in the US)

Thats the one. I went round it at about 5.15pm and there were cars everywhere so I just went right round the outside. Dont know if I did the right thing or not but im still in one piece ::)

But which way.......clockwise or anticlockwise ?

Doesnt matter which  ;D  ;)
Dont know I had my eyes shut ;D

5.15pm........hmmmmm.....not the best time to attempt a 'virgin' crossing of the roundabout.......rush hour an all.

Its sometimes best crossed using the loud pedal on full and emergency braking technique  ;D ;D

Next time you know your gonna be in Swindon, Pete, give me a shout, I can show you a burger king (that wont have ladies of the night plying their trade in the car park, but then you might have now set your sat nav to include mcd's as a favourite  ::) ;D ) closer to the magic roundabout and then show how you can go either way around it  :y

Sounds good to me :y

I will be back in Wiltshire in January, dont know where but I have found a nice B+B in Devizes ;)

What were you doing in Swindon then? Devizes is a good 20min run away........30mins if its not in the middle of night and doing silly speeds  ::) ;D

Or where you on yer way to devizes and decided to have a bite to eat and a nibble at the same time  ;D ;)

You could fill a whole episode of "You've Been Framed" with that.

There is a similar one in Hemel Hempstead btw.

There is a great pub in Brinkworth (3 Crowns I think) - serves all sorts of good ale and has an interesting food menu (incl alligator I seem to recall..)
