Omega climate problems.

I have a mini facelift which has a problem with the heater/climate control,when i try to adjust the temp it will only go hot on hi,if i go one or two degrees lower the air becomes cold,i have done the reset of the climate ,it doesent happen all the time,could it possibly be the HBV ?

I think I have read somewhere that the climate systems get confused if either the outside sensor or the sensor in the dash is faulty.

When you switch it to Hi or Lo it knows just to go fully one way or the other but if you set a temperature it doesn't know what to do because it isn't get any feedback.
