Can't find the hole in my tranny.

Had the oil and brake fluid changed today. Reasonable price actually.  :y

Asked them to top up the auto box, but said he couldn't find the fill hole.  >:(

Oh well, pencil me in for the auto fluid party in the spring I guess.  ::)

There's a female hex bolt on the side, IIRC. Perhaps, he couldn't be bothered to look too hard.  :(

Anyway, listen here Theo, a tranny is either a transvestite or a large van. You're talking about a gearbox. :P

If they couldn't find the filler, then there is no hope that they would know to check the level with the engine running whilst the fluid is warm!

Yeah, well, the UK is famous for having those two versions and the US is famous for automatic transmissions.  :P ;D
