hi guys can someone please help me im atempting to change the abs ecu on my mv6 as i have a whole new unit is there any info or can some one please give me tips on removing the abs pump ive seen the link on how to remove just the ecu but im wanting to change the whole lot many thanks if someone can help

Apparently changing both the ecu and pump as one item easier than just swapping the abs ecu.  Downside is you may need the use of a proper Tech2 to bleed abs unit afterwards  :(

Not sure I'd agree on that. :-/ ECU is difficult to remove without exactly the right tools but I'd always leave the valve block and pump be unless they were suspect, TBH.

Easier to remove ECU off abs block off car - certainly the breaker I bought an ecu off supplied complete unit - said it was easier to remove whole unit!!  Agree with you though that personally i'd leave abs block in situ and just swap ecu, which was what I did on the Estate.
