does anyone know the paintcode for the paint on my car, ive been told its called diamond black

cheers robg, its 81L all i gotta do now is get a new drivers door as my check straps just snapped and creased the damn thing

Plenty of mini-face being broke. Have you checked in "parts" section? All saloon doors are exactly the same across the entire range, only difference being door cards on the facelift :y

yes ive found a door(blue) but would prefer the same colour although its proving hard to find and i aint got much money at the moment to have it sprayed

Black are few and far between and I doubt whether it would be a good match taking into account age,colour deterioration etc

I have a gold (Z489) drivers door on here and eGay at the moment, as I think you'll be very very hard pushed to find one the right colour!

Are the "bump" strips interchangeable between facelift and pre-facelift Lee?

RobG does that go for all models front and back doors on an estate ,ive a 99 estate which seems to close to the change

Saloon models and estate fronts all the same across entire range. Not sure if any change with estate rears

Theres a Diamond Black door in my local scrappy. Cant say for certain the condition (i was going to replace a front wing, mines scratched, only to find when i got back someone had knackered the one in the scrappy, ah well!)

I can always have a look, Manc's not stupidly far away from me, though I can appreciate you may want to find a nearer door..

thanks RobG that leaves options open a bit more to getting fron door at least seams more good facelift doors about than the older ones.
