Top 10 police cars - no Omega?
« on: 16 December 2007, 21:35:59 »

This is an old page, dating back to January last year, but I thought it interesting that the author thinks that the Police love their 5-Series...and the Omega doesn't make the top 10.  :(

Humph! What does he know anyway?

Most of the cars in the list are not real police cars, there just one off promotional cars.

if it was a true list of the top UK police cars I bet the omega or senator would be there :y

.. and of the non-fantasy cars they choose a Skoda, a BMW and an SD1?!?!?!?

The Ferrari would be a cool way to get nicked though :-*

I heard a story the other day about a thief who was on his way to nick. When he got there he said he had hurt his back so couldnt get out of the back of the police car. They cut the roof off it to get him out :o. I hope they send him the bill

Should have just spilt some petrol on the back seat and lit a fag.....see how fast he moves then!

Somebody (can't remember who) was telling me that there was an accident where an injured person had been placed on the back set of a passing motorist's jag (shouldn't have moved him as it turned out).

Paramedics turned up and refused to move the injured person until the fire brigade had cut the roof off the Jag.

So, from good samaritan to owner of the world's first S type cabriolet in one simple step ;D

Bet he'll just drive past next time. Probably best thing to do given his first aid knowledge.

Was working in Africa a few years a go, and saw a recovery truck loading a crashed vehicle with the (dead) occupants still in it… my colleague who was local explained that they have no portable rescue equipment, so once it has been confirmed the occupants are dead they take the vehicle to the workshop to cut it open and remove the bodies… odd.
