front antiroll bar bushes

Right the problem i got is that the beast had her MOT and she needs front anti rollbar bushes but would i have to take the sub frame down  or are they below the sub frame can anyone help :)

Replaced mine last year. Didn't think they needed changing as the originals looked ok but they came with the front wishbone polybush kit so on they went.
What a difference the polybushes made !  :y
Much less bodyroll when cornering and the "floating" feel to the handling has gone.

Did mine with car over the pit. One bush on each side, just before the anti-roll bar bends backwards towards the drop links. Two bolts on each clamp.
Also helps to remove the front wheels as one bolt on each clamp is easier to access via the wheel arch.
I don't use the under engine splash panel on mine so not sure, but if fitted it may have to be removed to allow access to the anti-roll bar from below.

Not a big job but a bit of a fiddle as not much more than a 1/4 turn with a spanner on most of the bolts. Ratchet spanner makes it a bit quicker.

check the failure was on the anti roll bushes, more usually its the anti roll bar drop links that fail at MoT
