I work different hours each month and I send a timesheet to payroll with my total for the month. I am fed up with the inadequate internal mail, so I send it by special delivery (£4:30). Payroll rang me last month to ask if I had included anything else other than my timesheet as the envelope had been opened.

What more can I do? Makes me sick.

Got to say, all our posties have been excellent.  Will usually try neighbours, or try to put through catflap etc if not signed for...

No offence to any posties on here, but they always do it at this time of year to get maximum effect on their issues.

They are going the same way as the miners and British rail, they wanna be careful, i can see this Royal mail going private (Sold off to the highest bidder) then the posties will see what happens...... longer hours, less pay, worse conditions, and it will be the same answer as a lot of others got, if you dont like it, theres the door, and belive me, there are a lot of workers out there that WILL work for a low wage.

They will b"gger it up for themselves if they dont be careful, and its no good saying the goverment will never privertise the mail, yes they will if they need to, look at all the other British companies.... British coal, British steel, British rail etc etc, royal mail next.
