Pot Hole Destruction
« on: 27 January 2010, 14:57:03 »

Going over the speed bumps in our road this morning ,I am getting a knock/clunck from the nearside front ,and am expevting either the drop link or wishbone to be on its last legs.
Is it wise just to replace drop link and see if that cures problem ,or is it safer and more logical to do both while I am in that area....naturally I wil do both sides, but then have the added cost of getting it realigned..........why can,t we build roads that don,t destroy our cars.!!!
Best place to buy drop links and wishbones ??any pointers .

just change the drop links and see, they do not affect set up.

If it doesn't go away after replacing the drop links, try the shock absorber mounts. Worn ones can produce a knocking sound too. Mine did.
