Urgent help required in Plymouth
« on: 19 December 2007, 13:26:28 »

I have just discovered that my rocker cover gaskets are leaking again, really badly. Does any body in or near Plymouth fancy earning some last minute christmas cash.

I am rather unwell at the moment so don't have the inclination or energy to do this myself. Any help would be very gratefully received.

Just been quoted £227+vat and was told that I would need the new covers that have the gasket moulded in  :'(

TIA peeps

I kinda thought that, having done them myself last last, i thought he was talking crap. However I obviously didn't do them right in the 1st place.

Good old kitchen roll again for the time being.

Hi Rob,

What kind of working environment have you got down there? There's a possibility I might be able to wangle a day at the weekend...

James, thanks very much for your offer of help yet again. I shall let you off this time as it is probably more practical to take up Jay's offer (being local). I have pm'd him to make arrangements.

I am very grateful to both of you for your offers.  :y

I am overwhelmed! I love this place and the people on here are genuinely good people. I have never been let down and given my current situation has given me back a bit of faith in others.

That may sound a bit profound but I mean every word.
