multi ram

on front of multi ram there is a thing which looks like a acelarator or round thing with spring on you can move like revving an engine,could some one tell what this is for and is it suppose to move when engine is revved :y :y :y :y

are you having any engine trouble?? ie idle or take up?

no engine trouble at all , i'm just asking if this needs to move at any revs.because never seen it move need to know if it is working properly if multi ram is working right :y :y :y

would think it is working, dose it move easy, give a bit of speay grease and should be fine. :y

If you give the engine a hard blip on the throttle you should see them move.

you can rev the engine via the throtle linkage from the engine bay and watch the multi ram move if its working correctly, if not its usually a vac leak. Also another one at the back of plenum under scuttle area pass side.

Both need to work to maintain power delivery and fuel economy.

You need to be quite brutal to get the rear one to move.

Yep. Snap the throttle wide open and release as it hits 4-5k rpm or so. Don't worry. There's a rev limiter in case you do overcook it. ;)
