Just shows what an inquiring mind I have (not). But after 11 years I've never asked what the square hole is for above my climate panel. It probably tells me in my handbook, but I can't be bothered to go out to the car. I use it to keep tissues in, but I doubt this was GM's plan.

Any suggestions? Other than fag packets. :-?

Its where the Traction Control button used to be pre-facelift....Iv got the switch for my LPG there now...

Oh yeah, and for the sat nav screen on the elites....

Before mini facelift, TC buttons were mounted there, but mini facelift, they ditched rear window de-mist button to make some room, TC button went up with the rest, to make a nice space for Sat Nav

Carin sorry CARiN (Andy  ) - Is 12 year old system, so set your expectations lower.

In terms of address entry, its harder, not as quick or slick. But if you fit the GPS, it holds its signal much, much better than TT units. Also nice not to have a feking great big bright colour screen stuck on the dash.

You get a little control knob which is mounted on the passenger side of the arm rest next to the handbreak, so its quite natural to control

Still not sure if anyone is recommending this, and if so, what is the degree of difficulty in fitting?
