Part numbers required & Cable identifying problem?
« on: 13 February 2010, 14:47:06 »

Hi,

Does any know of the part numbers for the bits arrowed in the picture please.
I'm about to renew the front suspension and it would be ideal to set the front as a whole unit to quickly change rather than swapping springs and bits onto the new shock unit.

Also, I've just recently done the "boot trick" on my facelift model, but come across couple of cables that I curious to what there for, especially the black one, as it seams to have some sort of small nut attachment on the end ?.  Anyone have any ideas ?.

Thanks.

i'd go with above, grey looks telematics related. Black could be GPS loom, but as yours is a CD its not used.

Thanks chaps,

Pity the black cable isn't a post option useful upgrade for another toy !.  Got a mobile phone so don't need one in the car, and also got a separate SatNav !!.

Lee,
Can't remember how to do it, but you told me how I can shut up the woman on the Traffic master system, where's the plug to pull, and is it easy to get to without having to tear things apart ?.  Because after I did the boot trick she starting yapping away again !!.  ::)

Up above the pedals behind the fuse box is where the black/metal box for the TM is. Just unplug it :y

Seems like you want #`s 7,9,15 & 16 in this pic.

#7 is 90125425
#9 is 90288206
#15 is 90121275
#16 is 90251921
These part numbers are for the X20XEV, should be the same for the 2.2. Can`t seem to find any numbers for the 2.2. HTH
