Check that the front 02 sensor is plugged in properly, it's not getting a signal from it.

Sorry to raise this again...

Ok i have been looking on a friends TIS and i still cant clarify which sensor is classed as number 1.....

Now i would pressume that number 1 would be at the front, but knowing VX it could be the other way round! ;D

Is there anyone that can confirm for definate which O2 sensor is number 1?
I'm not in a position to replace both at the moment and i have already replaced the sensor nearsest the manifold recently.
It could be that the one i replaced has failed already but at the same time i dont want to pull it out if its the other one thats not working, hence why i hope someone can clarify which is which.

I have tried to un-plugged and reattached both sensor wiring plugs but alas no fix....

Please can anyone help!!!?????? im begining to loose patients with this car now!

Thanks

EPC shows "position 1" sensor as the furthest from the manifold

I reckon its one nearest manifold if its sensor 1...

Was the replacement a good quality part?
