Christmas Bonus
« on: 20 December 2007, 22:36:08 »

Well, I moan about my company.

But I looked in my payslip today, and I've had an unexpected Christmas Bonus I was extremely pleased (and shocked) with - it would probably get me half way towards buying a real Tech2 :)

I feel guilty, I feel that I should probably do some work tomorrow  :-X  ::)

Pint, anyone?  ;D  [smiley=beer.gif]

:)My bonus is bottled. Still, getting paid 5days unused hols. Many firms operate a "use it or lose it" policy. Helps this time of year. 8-)

Nice, isn't it when you get a good bonus :)

Bonus is actually part of my T&Cs, amount varies with how well we did against targets.  Trouble is (for the company) we keep exceeding targets, but they don't like paying bonuses to non US based employees, so they make up some excuse for a poor one, making out that the company hasn't done well (despite posting a $8bn profit for the year).  >:(

My brother used to work for BT. When he kept hitting his targets, they just raised the bar and made it more difficult to achieve.

Yup, so did I.  But, fairplay to BT, if the targets were met, decent bonus was paid....
