« on: 20 February 2010, 12:43:00 »

Got the jacked up at the moment to remove it,but aint got a f*****g clue as to what i am doing to be honest. Is there two 10 mm bolts holding it?,and whats the bigger nut,it looks like a 15mm,do i need to remove this.Dont really seem possible to me to take it off without stripping half the underneath. Also when it says remove the heatsheild, which one?,is it the tin one where the wiring follows it behind. :-/

Been a long time since I did my selector but as I remember the heat shield is a metal shield that is held in place by 4 clips two on either side of the switch. Its actually the same shape as the switch itself. Once removed it makes it easier to remove the securing bolts for the switch itself.  :y
