Do you know who's delivering it Jaime?
If its HDNL I might be able to get you the depot number, they should be able to give you a more useful response.
It is HDNL, and I was guaranteed a call from them this evening. I told the stupid bint at Amazon that I didn't believe they would. Some poor thicko at Amazon is going to get very upset tomorrow morning - they really are a shower of shits
TV - The actual 3rd party repair 'engineers' sound pretty good - I have spoken to them on the phone, and they seem curteous, understanding, and caring. Which is more than I can say for Samsung. And the kindest thing I can say about the head honchos at beyondtelevision.co.uk is that painful torture is too kind
Do you know which depot delivers to you mate? Looking at the map your between Leamington Spa 01926 311517 and Hitchin 01462 421336.
Assuming Amazon have supplied you with a tracking number the depot will be able to tell you wherabouts track & trace thinks your parcel is. Our depot is working Saturday, Sunday and Monday and I would assume your local depot will be the same so there's a good chance of it being delivered prior to the festivities. Any probs let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Thanks for the offer - mine looks like Daventry. Thing is, as they have already missed the promised date, who knows when it will arrive. And I really need to go in to office of Monday, and really need to pop out today. So staying in on the offchance that they may deliver is not really possible. If someone can give me a definate yes or no, that would be a start.
We have real trouble with couriers around this way. One particular outfit, Amtrak, has a 100% failure record for delivering to me on the promised day. And we're not just talking about one or 2 failures here either. Most courier companies use same excuse - van broke down, accident etc. Amtrak once told me the truth - ran out of time in the day.
It may be a bit rural round here, but its not exactly the back of beyond
