engine problems

please please help, my omega has had this problem for a while once the car has warmed up it seems to struggle and jerk to accelerate I have replaced the egr valve, spark plugs and leads have ran all diagnostic tests and fuel tests all is ok any ideas ? oh there is a smell of fuel when i first start the car.

Sounds like fuel starvation, check the fuel filter for leaks. If the filter hasn't been renewed within normal replacement period, it defo needs renewing now IMHO. :y

The 'fuel filter' is located under the fuel tank, offside rear, you need special 'pilers' to release the fuel pipe clips.
First place to start as owners don't tend to have them replaced (should be 40k/4years)

You don't need these - come undone easy with two small screwdrivers  :y

if you smell fuel from exhaust ,could be missing on a cylinder which isnt igniting the fuel ,then as you have change plugs and leads did you check the dis pack aswell
could be that

hooked it up to 3 different diagnostic machines and emissions tests all ok

hi all found out today that a dis pack will cost £140 ish and ive already spent about £300 trying to fix it any cheaper options other than dis pack
