police heavy duty clutch
« on: 03 March 2010, 11:07:24 »

Dear all - l am in the process of replacing the clutch on my ex-plod 3.2. I have informed by a reliable source (PSNI mechanic) that l will need a replacement heavy duty clutch as originally fitted to this version. This can be seen in markings on the transmission housing. Apparently a normal (europarts etc) clutch will not fit. The heavy duty item would be a lot more expensive! Any advice from you guys appreciated!

Cheers for info - could you tell me what you were charged for the clutch change?

I'm pretty sure that when it comes apart, you'll find it the same...
