Pre facelift headlamp washer jets - Alternative?
« on: 15 March 2010, 14:17:47 »

Hi all,

Has anyone found out if headlamp washer jets from another vehicle will fit a pre-facelift Omega Elite? (There were some on Ebay for a Ford Focus that looked a possibility). New ones for the Omega are expensive to buy new and difficult to source 2nd hand. Maybe I should consider a different solution entirely? I am fed up buying replacements!

Many thanks for any input.

Mark S.

your going to need Omega ones, they are a bespoke design. Try scrappies or breakers here

Seem to remember reading somewhere some BMW ones will fit - not sure where or even if true :-/

I've always done what Tunnie suggests or looked on fleabay.

Yey, I remember that aswel. There where some pictures from one of our European members about who sais it was a fairly common conversion. E39 model rings a bell.

Thanks for the suggestions folks - Curiously I was looking at BMW X3 or X5, they looked to be a possibility, but I'll check out the e39 advice as well.

Not wishing to cause offence but from memory I thought they where mounted in the panel beneath the headlight.
