Climate panel removal

I have had a gander at the how 2's but did find the info i need, i wish to remove the climate panal from a facelift  elite. Do i need to remove the radio or any thing at all? :-/

Yes.

There is a guide, something like centre console removal. See the index sticky at top of maint guides.  I had to use it myself this weekend.

Even I can do this one.  ;D

Take the radio out and all the surrounding switches. Undo the screws holding the wood surround, then lever it forward at the top. No need to remove the ashtray. The climate panel is held in by clips, lever these outward, I think. Climate panel will come out by pushing it backwards.
