my 2.0 omega auto problems
« on: 17 March 2010, 20:12:31 »

hi, i live in the rushden area northants, is anyone local to me who can code read my vauxhall omega 2.0 gls auto its a x plate.

the engine management light keeps coming on and off its not affecting the power or drive. im pressuming its the camshaft sensor or crankcase sensor, not a mechanic but i know them to have these faults. i maybe wrong. but dont want to waste money buying parts untill i know what it is. all if you do a short journey say quauter of a mile nip into lets say a shop and go back to car it fails to start leave it a few mins and then it starts up. does this quite often more than not. any suggestions oor help neeeded. trouble my wife uses it for work everyday and shes a little worried  and unsure of the car at the minute. please any help would be very gratefull. and if someone close to me could code read that would be great too. cheers dave  :'(

Paperclip it and post up results. Sounds symptomatic of crank sensor but could possibly be the cam sensor http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687
