Tension on 2.2DTi Aux belt
« on: 16 March 2010, 15:23:40 »

How do you release the tension on the Aux belt tensioner for a 2.2DTi ?

Managed to get the belt off but now can't get it back on?

Pretty sure the tensioner has either a 3/8 square drive in it near the end (female) or a cast in hex (male). It's at the opposite end of the bolt that attatches it to the front cover. They are difficult to move, but you should be able to rotate the tensioner enough to get the belt on.
