Door check straps...

hi all, been trying to get all my bits and pieces ready for the MOT... both my door chek straps are missing, and nobody I know knows whether its an MOT'able item... also, knowing my luck it will be, are they much of a job to fix? any help on this would be great. thanks in advance

Thanks all, that looks like a great help...  doesn't look to bad after all! As both of my actual straps are missing, does anyone know the part no. or whether they're easy to come by? best place? that sort of thing? thanks again

All the part numbers you need are on the guide, but you'll have to go to VX for them. The guide is quite old but as you can see the retail prices were ok. Having said that, someone with TC may be able to help, or even ask AndyC on the forum and he'll sort you out with mail order.  :y
