2.2i exhaust manifold price

Hiya

ive got a 25 plate 2.2 petrol cdx, with a broken exhaust manifold,(crack between cly 2 and 3)
just rang up the local vx dealer and the parts guy told me its £350 + vat and its only in germany..

is this guy having a laugh or are they that much?

Next day delivery, includes gaskets, studs and bolts.
Proper GM part as well. :y

Trouble is why are so many of these cracking on the 2.2. :(

Edit...Check if you've got the Z22XE engine (should be), the manifold without the extra holes, the top one in the picture.
And BTW they are closed until the end of the month, you can still place an order though.

is interesting, can fuel affect it? Maybe poor cooling  :-/

My 2.2 is on 137k, dads 110k, both no signs of cracking  :-/
