fault codes again

hi there i put a message on here last night saying that  i found out my fault code and that there is a missfire on cylinder 2 and does anybody know the best course of action i forget to mention that my car is a 2001 mv6 estate im not mechanicly minded so i would be gratful of any advice thanks.

Plug?
Coil pack?
Cam cover oil leaks leading to above?

if the cam covers are leaking it could be that the spark plug recesses are filled with oil which could also cause the misfire as could a dodgy ht lead

whoops!! sorry :-/ I have done lots of work on the older 2.5 and 3.0 models but not the later ones

if you swap that coil with another cylinder and change your faultcode the coil will be the culprit

There's 1 3 5 coil pack and a 2 4 6 coil pack. They're different.  ;)  ;) but I like your thinking.  :y
