AUX DRIVE BELT TENSIONER

had a big time failure of the above today, smoke and screaming some one thought i strangled the local cat.

has anyone got the part number for the item, :y
and is the pully available on its own or do i have to replace the whole unit
and i now need the aux belt  how the heck do i get the old one off what has to be removed.... :y

If the whole bit is goosed, about £55. however.....

44L3 pulley is a common cheap fix, and at about £24 much better!!
part no. 9157962 at the dealers.

great stuff its looks like just the pully is goosed
all the bearings are shot and it melted lol
so of to the steelers in the morning

spose i best did out the wet gear for the bike lol

Take the part number (above) with you, apparently a lot of parts depts insist it's only available as a complete unit  ;)

You have to move part of the secondary air pipework to get the new belt on.
I ended up removing all the bagpipes to get the new belt on, even though I got the old belt off with it still in place.

The belt part number is 93181718.I hope that helps. :y
