MOT Pass with advisory
« on: 03 April 2010, 14:01:34 »

Just taken car for its mot in my usual garage where they spent about 45 mins inspecting. It was passed but with some advisories. Firstly I was told that the steering colum has some slight play but was then told they are all like that and its nothing to worry about. I am a little confused ??. Also about 18 months ago I changed front brake discs and pads and was adivised that the nearside inner disc is slighty marked, What can cause that?

Ive just bought myself a w reg gls with 77,000miles for spairs for my 200,000miles diesel,On driving the gls the steering column/steering all together feels alot tighter.there is slight play in my diesels steering column which i was not bothered about, but on driving the gls im going to swap the columns over and replace track rod ends etc(new ones of course)To hopfully get it back the way it should be :y :y.Until i drove this other omega i thought my steering was spot on. :y
