As AA says they will still start, struggle but will  :y And not only the 2.2's it seems.......CraigR iirc told me his 2.0 will start as well with failed/disconnected cam/crank sensor

Take a couple of spark plugs out or drive it around with the handbrake on ;D ;D ;D
