Starting trouble
« on: 24 April 2010, 15:33:36 »

Over the last 3 days the car has developed an annoying habit of not starting first time, i turn the key and it tries to start for about 20-30 seconds but it just sets of the EML light and then starts, i then have to turn it off and try it again, most times it will start normally on the second try but can take 3 or 4 goes without it setting off the EML  ::) any ideas of what could cause this?

Crankshaft sensor??? Try following wellung666`s paperclip advice that should give you the code and from there others should be able to advise what to do next...Hope this helps...
