To lower the exhaust you could get slightly longer rubber exhaust hangers at the rear of the car.The other option I have seen by chavs is to get a heatshield mounted onto the bumper but it looks awful.

A heatshield? Never seen that...

In facts, I have mounted this silencer myself with the original rubbers but I would see the original mounting if some members have. It was very difficult to mount on my car because I have only one exit on my car and the silencer have two inputs... So I had to make a splitter, so I'm afraid of doing something wrong...

Yeah I have this brochure of course but we can't see properly... When you look from over, do you see the "i" logo? You can see on my photo, not at all... Can you please make some close up pics of yours? And also below? Thank you.

It's a stick on item to protect your bumper  :y

So I need to cut on my Irmscher bumper? This is not even worth thinking about lol, and it's really awful...

maybe fit exhaust with wire as the hangers, from a wire coat hanger perhaps? just to get the position correct, then measure the length of rubber hangers you need to buy?

should be able to angle the rear box down i little at the joint, without stressing the middle sections i guess?

I have talked to a mechanic, I have an appointment this friday to correct that... He asked me for photos of an original mounting to try to do the same thing. So, I'll be very grateful to those who send me photos...  :y

You don't need to cut the bumper it merely sticks onto the bumper between the gap where the exhaust and bumper are in close proximity, hence it being a heatshield.Sorry I didn't make that clear earlier. :y

I did say that they were very chavtaststic earlier  :) that's why I suggested the longer rubber hangers to sort out your exhaust  :y
